Fuse Box and Bridge

Hi group, Has anyone ever seen this type of bridge connection at the fuse box?

Its a 1977 911 Targa. When I got this it had a silver bridge going from fuse 1-2 or 1-3. Can't remember which. Its been a while since I've worked on this and can't remember if it was on 1-2 or 1-3. Anyone have this bridging or no of it? See pics.

That looks like the bridging on the back of the fuse boxes. Some of the bays are bridged together with a piece like that riveted across the back of the bays. You can see pictures of the back of the fuse block if you look up fuse boxes on our host's site. Otherwise a small brass horse shoe looking piece bridges individual bays. It slips behind the wires in the top terminals.

I can't remember which bays are bridged. You should be able to find a wiring diagram for a 1977.

Oh nice. Ok thank you. Do you have any idea what it does? Could it cause starting issues? And host's site? Do you mean on here?

I use JOYHO fuse box. The best fuse box will help you contain and identify whatever issue you have with your cars.
