How hard is it?

Has anyone installed this piece with thier dash still in the car, complete? What is involved?

Hi Terry, The dash face your reffering to is not difficult to replace but,
You will have to remove and discconect all your gages. If you decide to go forward.. just remember to label all the connectors as you remove them one at time.

Got it. Thanks. I must be blind.

This is listed as '76 to '89. Is the set-up the same as below for a '73 in terms of removal and installation? (Sorry Wayne, borrowed your pic for illustration.)

The PO seriously scratched the one on Phoeninx when removing the SpeedO. Given guage removal, cleaning and recalibration is on my "to do " list, I'd like to also repaint this piece as well and get rid of that prominant and unsightly scratch. Can this be relatively easily removed, painted and re-installed?

jorge, we gotta hook up again soon for a drive. went with my folks down 25 to 198 to colinga, great run. as good as mines/del puerto i reckon.
