1985 carrera tire pressure

Tires in my 911 do not have a psi printed .. what is the optimum pressure for everyday driving. No sticker in door jam either

The sticker should be in the engine bay on the latch panel.

1985 carrera tire pressure

My 1986 manual calls for 36psi on the rears and 29psi on the fronts.

FWIW, the engine bay sticker on my '86 (with 205/55-16 front and 225/50-16 rears) calls for 36psi rear, 29psi front -- this has worked well for me

There are many variables for tire pressures. I would assume the car is not loaded with a passenger and luggage for most of the driving.

My car has 17 inch Euromiester fake Fuchs and I run 225/45 fronts and 255/40 rears.

I use 36 front and 38 rear most of the time. Higher pressure than most, but after 25 years of ownership and lots of miles that works best for my needs.

Spot on- Been that way for our '86.

Very even tire wear.
