Nuts and Bolts

Where can one find correct nuts, bolts and washers for early 911's? I have an 84 and I like replacing nuts and bolts while I have things apart. For instance, today I had the decklid latch out for a cleaning and the two bolts are rotten. I'd like to replace them and the washers if I knew where to get them. Thanks in advance.

I have spent sooooo much money at Belmetric. I have a good deal of inventory from them.

Nothing fancy about most of this stuff. I can get metric nuts and bolts (and washers) at my local small hardware store, or at Loews/HD. If you want a concours match to the plating, may have to look farther.

The only correct ones are at the dealers , or if nla Inspection and restoration of what you have .
Home Depot , Lowe’s , Ace Etc have a good enough selection to use temporaries whilst you wait for original new parts or restoration of existing parts .

Belmetric, yellow zinc plated. I order tons of stuff from them, excellent hardware, cheap and fast. Order more than you need, build up a spare fastener kit.

If you are going for a concours 100 point car, yea, the Porsche dealer and a few sources for re-plated hardware is the way to go. If you just like new hardware instead of slightly rusted or corroded bolts to hold non critical parts together is fine. Be careful with critical parts like brakes or suspension parts to get the same strength bolts.
