2.7 S Install help!

The time has come to install and I'm at a loss... It's been 4 months since i pulled it and now trying to remember where everything is.
Looking for the easiest way. It seems like pulling the trans and installing in one piece would be easier ?? Really want to avoid any stupid/costly mistake.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also do i use a break-in oil..Help!!

I'm ready to install my 2.8 also. Just waiting for PMOs to arrive. I like to keep transmission in car. I have dropped and installed 4 times this way. Always been easy for me with a floor jack.

Nice looking motor. What did you have done to it?

When I built my 2.7 I went with ported heads, 40mm carbs,964 cams,SSIs and M&K sport muffler. I also run a 7:31 gear ratio. Ran strong. But not strong enough for me. Now it's a 2.8

Most of the home DIYers do it as one unit with tranny and engine together. Seems like pros who have lifts like to just do engine by itself. Saves messing with half shafts.

If you took it out by itself, you should be able to put it back the opposite way.
