Need Advice Re Plug Wires for Pertroniz and MSD

I recently decided to go to a Pertronix Ignitor 2 on my modded 3 to 3.2L SC engine. I have, for the last 25 years, used a 74-77 distributor with points. I also have an MSD CDI box with the Blaster coil that mounts with the contact points facing up, not down as in the factory setup.

I'm thinking of using the Pertronix 91867A model with adaptive dwell.

I have, I think, a set of Fyrebraid plug wires. When I contacted Pertronix, they said these wires were fine to use since they suppress EMI interference, which is required for both the MSD box and the ignitor. When I contacted STI/Karlyn (Fyrebraid) they said not to use those wires because the ends would not handle the "increased voltage" of the ignitor!

So obviously I'm at a loss here.

The wires are old so I'm thinking maybe I should just replace them. The question now becomes which wires to get?

Does anyone have any experience with their wires in a Pertronix/MSD setup?

Any recommendations or horror stories?

Thanks.

Doing some research, it looks like both Clewett and Magnecor have EMI suppression cores so they should work for both MSD and Pertronix. Now to see if either has a long enough coil wire for the Blaster 2 coil...

Clewett recommended the set number 9192-28-E, which is made for 65-69s with fender mounted coils and has an 18" coil lead.
