Name that Tool!

I came across this on German Ebay.

I have no idea what this is but that it can be used for Porsches.

What is it?

quite clearly it is a transmogifier that turns your little ol' 3.2 into a 3.8l Twin Turbo tuned monster. Worth every penny!

It repairs broken head studs..... bid quick & often.

Actually, looks like a compressed-air motor, having nothing to do with p-cars.

Nice little (homemade) steam engine. Beefy flywheel, too.
May (or may not) have been made by a craftsman in the Fatherland.

Small two-cylinders steam engine in Boxerform.Bohrung x Hub:12x14mm, Breite:9cm, Gesamthoehe:7cm.Mit compressed air tested, very good-compact, strong machine runs, because of the small mass ideally for steam boats to ca.70cm length.

That was the prototype of the analog anti lock braking system that Porsche experimented with on the 356 back in 1959.

its a hamster power supply, ive seen one of these work before. you attach a gerbil friendly wheel (not shown) to the stainless input shaft. torque to 93 ft.lbs. (strange enough the same as lugs on a P-ride). then you pick yer vermin, a thorough bred short hair will work best. the teddy bear hamsters tend to get "too dam hot" do to lack of cooling capacity. a product called a "cool collar is rumored to help the long hair strain, i'd still prefer a short haired version. ifyou look close you can see the two oil lines that run from the unit to the carrera type cooling device (fan recommended in warmer climates), again not shown in this shot. just above the oil lines you will notice your power connectors, good for 220v or 110v depending on your application. the brass deal is merly a sump plate to access the valves on the unit that require adjustment ever 5 to 7k running hours. a tool called the island valve adjustment tool WILL be needed for this operation. get one of these while you can, there will be no group buys on this one due to limited availability currenly in the market. and oh yeah, the cut out on the side,,, its a cup holder.

Answer:

Zweizylinder Damfmashine. (2-cylinder steam engine)

Kaiser is the winner.

The guy selling was also selling Porsche stuff and I thought it might be used for working on Porsches but I guess not.
