Foam block how to fit ?

Any advice as to how the Foam Block fits between the rear bulkhead and shock strut beam e.g. where does the adhesive side go. Picture/s would be great. Cheers Mark |

Long thread, but eventually it gets to the foam blocks. Adhesive side goes either against the firewall or the strut tower. Just needed to hold the foam in place.

I cheated - I dammed the top and bottom with duct tape and injected firestop foam. Not for the concourse but highly functional...

Many thanks, installed now with adhesive to strut tower.

why? dont recall any foam blocks on either of my 911s. since the engine bay is open above and below the shock support not sure the purose.
but I still have time to do this if appropriate.
