Foam block how to fit ?

76 911

Any advice as to how the Foam Block fits between the rear bulkhead and shock strut beam e.g. where does the adhesive side go.

Picture/s would be great.

Cheers
Mark

Long thread, but eventually it gets to the foam blocks. Adhesive side goes either against the firewall or the strut tower. Just needed to hold the foam in place.
Hot engine bay-

Garage
I cheated - I dammed the top and bottom with duct tape and injected firestop foam. Not for the concourse but highly functional...

but I still have time to do this if appropriate.

My understanding is the foam blocks help to stop hot air/heat... rising from the hot underside of the engine up to the topside/coldside of the engine all contributing to efficient air flow management along with the engine/tin rubber seal, fan, oil cooler etc....
