unusual Rotor

I bought a 1979 engine that I am cleaning up before installing in my car-its supposed to run. I bought a new rotor (pictured on left) but it is a different style than the existing. Are they interchangeable and has anyone seen the one on the right before?

ROW SC's and 930's did not have the extra speed control relay the US versions had to kill the fuel pump, they had a rotor that would cut ignition.
