Porsche Crest Stoneguard, Can you see it?

I just had Stoneguard applied to my car's new paint, it's called different things in different markets but it's a 3M product that is applied to the car by franchised applicators.

What I have is the basic kit with the extended hood piece (extends up 2/3)

Products such as this are always perfectly transparent when new, it would be interesting to know how it stands the test of time. But coming from the company that put my dad through law school, (he was a scotch tape salesman), I'm sure it's good stuff. BTW, that car sure looks familiar:

Just don't be tempted to try and apply it yourself. PCNA has it on all of their Porsche Experience track cars (about two dozen 911s and a like number of Cayennes...). The PCNA guys told me they bought a whole bunch and sent it to the factory. The factory guys told them it "didn't work." They couldn't apply it. PCNA had to have it done over here, by somebody who knew what he was doing.

I have it my car in several places for a number of years now ( about 7 years)...all is OK with no yellowing.
The only area that is somewhat affected is the rocker area behind the rear wheel arch on the driver's side. That area gets *very* hot due to the cat...and there is now a barely perceptable yellowing due to heat...but you have to look closely. All other areas like the front side of the side view mirrors, etc...are still clear.

That's the idea ...you *can't* see it unless you're real close. I'm guessing that the "bra" is a big piece that covers the front 18-24" of the hood ( front-to-back).
I have such a piece..but because I practiced putting on the smaller pieces first ( a real b%tch !.. BTW)....I've been spooked to go alone on this big piece without getting bubbles/wrinkles/ bad position. Would like to know of qualified installers in the Western New York state area..near Buffalo. Anyone ?

RoninLB...thanks for the comments...I don't have the piece attached to the front valence...but Stongard does custom-cut pieces for the 911 that fit various places...like the front-side of the side-view mirrors, clear version of the Turbo spats for the rear wheels ( I have these too...nice), "eyebrows" for the area below the headlights...they also have a clear strip for above/below the front bumper rub strip and for the central air intake....behind the door handles, etc etc
