Turn Signal Switch Connectors

Replaced the turn signal switch in my 83Sc. Before I started I had no hi-beams but turn signals worked. After the install I now have hi-beams but no turn signals. I checked and double checked the 4 wires were installed in the correct positions on the headlight switch. However I have two white plastic connectors ( between the back wires in the picture), one male and one female with nothing to connect them to. The two between the black wires in the picture. The male wire is black with a white and green stripe. The female connector is a solid gray. Any idea of what to do with these connectors?

Thank you! I saw the black connectors but I thought they were for something else because they did not have the same white connectors.
