CV joint tabs
Hi,
I have removed my inboard CV joints on my 84 3.2 and there were not any tab washers on the bolts. Are these necessary? The parts manual says that 4 are required, is this one on outboard and one on inboard on each drive shaft? Thank you Last edited by chateau; 11-16-2020 at 09:38 AM.. |

I think the Op is referring to these> https://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/192418/Axle-Bolt-Lock-Plate-Rear-91133219100/
I don't see them on Pelican. They are needed and take 3 per side. You also need schnoor washers and new bolts.

The 8x50 bolts on an 84 do not require washers but are required to be 12.9 hardness
