Have a 1985 911 with center console?

I reinstalled my console which includes a temp control switch, fan control and red door lock button at the top of console.
If you have an 84, 85 or 86 with the same console please tell me what is illuminated on console when you turn the lights on....photo below...

Do the knows on the TEmp Switch and fan control illuminate?

The red Door lock IS NOT lighting up.... but it does lock the doors. I recall the door lock button lighting up dim then very bright red once you locked the doors. What else is illuminated on console?
Thanks

My 87 has different AC controls but I can say the door lock button should light up.

stopped lighting up

I did light up but once I disconnected it and re-connected it, it stopped. It works, locks the doors, but no longer lights up. Hate to spend $130 on a new one just for the light!!

On my 1985, only the door lock button is illuminated. It has a dim glow if the door are unlocked, and a brighter light if the doors are locked. The AC controls are not illuminated.

OK, no doubt that bulb is blown.

Unsolder it, carefully and take it to a batter and bulb business. They have a drawer full of bulbs. Likely something of the right style. Worst case solder some wire leads to the side of the bulb and the base and solder in place.

when you say "IS ILLUMINATED", you do mean dimly lit ONLY when you turn the lights on and get brighter when you lock the doors?...

ALSO, Is it lit when your lights ARE NOT on?
Thanks
