Would I have rocks in my head???
I’ve been shopping for a semi-daily driver; probably no more than 5,000 miles per year.
I was looking at recent vintage (2017) CPO Jaguar F-Types and then stumbled onto a very low mileage 2017 Aston Martin V8 Vantage and fell in love. Naturally, the Aston Martin is not CPO, it’s out of warranty and more costly. But other than that... All my German car owning friends tell me I’ve got rocks in my head and I suspect the German car loving group here will say the same, but I’d still appreciate the respected opinions here. OK, bring it! ![]() PS, there is a well respected (non-dealer) Aston Martin mechanic in the area. Last edited by Quickstep192; 10-19-2020 at 06:49 PM.. |

I daily drove a ‘16 for 5k miles in LA traffic. It’s fine; can basically crawl around in 2nd gear and the clutch is light. Parking is tough. The rigid front splitter makes some parking structures and/or lot entrances no go.
Annual basic service is $2k. And s$@t breaks.....a lot. |

I guess it depends on how important reliability is to you.
