Widened SC lower

I have been looking at my sc lower control arm and thinking about widening it two inches. i wanna do a 964 rsr look with 52 mm offset front wheels on my widebody and -37 on the rear. I have built lowers for race cars and other projects. Has anyone done this or even possible a widebody 964 front end. Thanks in advance. I know some of you will disagree with what im doing, its ok.I always feel to each their own. Kevin Stewart

So why exactly do you want widening your control arm?

I plan to go to a 52mm offset wheel on front.

You could make a width adjustable lower ball joint like the factory GT3 lower arms, doesn't someone already make this?

I wonder if you could use 935 style setup and simply adjust it out or modify it to be wider. Seems like it might be more elegant than modifying the stock SC control arms. Though welding a section into the control arm to make it wider could be achieved for a lot less money. Then you need to have custom spindles or extensions on the tie rods. I take it you are just trying to avoid a giant spacer behind that later offset RS wheel.
