Omega Spring Install

Replacing the omega spring and ran into a small problem trying to set the clutch arm into final position. The arm is hanging up on the small "L" bracket being held in with 2 small phillips screws. I've done this operation several times in the past and never had this issue. Hopefully one of you guys will see something obvious.

The spring is installed upside down, I don’t have a comparison
You need to load the spring arm before and cable before Installing the clutch lever

how do you want to set in the final place if you do not have the cable hooked into the arm?
The spring`s what is supposed to stop on the L shaped bracket you are past that point.
.Remove the little finder with the spring(which is not correctly attached on the pic) then connect the clutch cable and pull back to its position with a bar
or big screwdriver.Only after you install the little finger and spring, adjust your clutch cable..

Thanks I see it now. The original spring broke and didn't have a good point of reference. Working from memory doesn't always work for me.

Common mistake, and easy to make when you do this maybe once every 10 years, if that often.
