Hi guys how does rwb get his track width there’s no way it’s by wheel offset alone thanks in advance. Kevin

His web site lists a "wheel adapter". So I would guess it is a combination of wheel offset and the adapter. There is no reason you couldn't do it all with offset.
I bet my race car has just as wide a rear track and I use 930 trailing arms and wheel offset. ![]()

I think you should post more pictures of your car... to better appreciate the wheels and offset of course!

NICE.
Really dig the re-profiled wheel opening height on the rear. Most loose the concept that when you really widen the flares on a 911 at the same slope as the factory fender, you end up covering the top of the tire too much. Yours is spot-on. That's the PRC-spec bodywork, right?

No, this is the widest Getty 993 wide body kit which has the 993 Front Fenders +2” and the 993 Quarter Panels +3”. The flares are the GT2 Fender Flare Set. The flare set is what re-profiles the rear wheel opening. The front opening is reptiles some too...but not as much.
A lot of cars in the PRC ran this bodywork...most without the GT2 Fender Flare Set. My car is firmly a PCA GT3R car now as the PRC no longer exists.

Cool. Looks great.
Bummer about PRC, it sounded like a cool series. I remember Rich Walton telling me all about it when it was a new concept back in the day.

Mostly by wheel offset. I`ve seen two of his builds live and none were using spacers.
I`m using pretty aggressive setup myself with 10 and 12 inches wide with turbo size fenders. Kevin, no offense but that bottom pic is photoshopped ![]() p.s. a big fan of Scott`s (aka winders) car! |

https://www.willtheyfit.com/ I think on stock turbo size my setup is the limit, 12x18 at the back with -21 offset, can`t go wider (meater) than 295/30 (pretty stretched). Mor functional 305+ could get in with probs 11 inches wide and a bit less offset. |

Cheshire Cat I think I am going to go 18x12 zeromm offset on rear and 18x8.5 52mm offset with widened lower control arms front. I just would like more highway gear without changing the gear and the 265 just look to small. Do you know what tire sizes RWB runs. Thanks for all the help much appreciate it, Kevin

haha, 1982 SC with former slant nose conversion to 930s, so, I believe turbo fenders. Not sure if it`s bare stock suspension but I`d guess it is. Right now - turbo front fenders turbo rear ones
10x18 and 12x18 with -11 (negative 11) and -23 (negative 23) offsets tyres are stretched and camber is negative (as much as it could be achieved with original suspension, so not crazy negative) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() rear left fender rubs under acceleration and a bit closer to the tyre than the right side, my guessing is that it`s not perfectly matched side to side and yep, she`s converted once again, by me this time |

What track width do the RWB 993-like bodied cars usually have? Front? Rear?
Here is another Norcal car with the Getty Design bodywork like Winders': That car is a '75. Right now with a warmed over 3.6 and a 930 transmission. Probably under 2000 pounds. I think it is still for sale in the Sacramento area. And here is a pic of the ass end of one (mine) that has the same bodywork but without the GT2 flares: Also a '75 with a 3.6. This one weighs about 1900 pounds and can be driven to the grocery store. We have had quite a few cars with this Getty Design bodywork built in our area for racing purposes. All but a few have run 16 inch wheels for track and racing work. Most are at or near retirement from racing. Some of these cars have widened the front track with the excellent ERP 935-style control arms (e.g., Winders' and mine).

You can get there with the offset, and no spacers. To me, the limitation is tire width. the rwb rims are wider than the tires. I have a set of old CCW 9 & 10.5x17's with 235/40/17's and 275/40/17's were the rim is wider than the tire.
I built a pair of CCW 11x17's with 5.5" backspacing that was flush with my DP rear fenders, which are an 1" wider than stock turbo fenders. Also had a pair of real Campagnolo 12x15's with 5.0" offset which protruded past the fender lip. Here's a shot with 13x15 Fuchs w/335/35/15 TB's. ![]()
