What years were gas heaters used in 911s?

I’ve had loads of 911s and stored a pile of early cars before they had any value...

I never saw a gas heater in a 911 / 912 before yesterday. What year(s) were these used? In this particular car, they don’t want to run the heat exchangers...

Wire for the control wiring for aux Webasto heater accessory was included in the dash harness until at least 73. (Blue wire with male terminal coming off of the blower motor 6 pin connector)

My 66 911 had one, I still have most of it if anyone is needing parts
