I got spark!!!
 The new coil arrived today. With the CORRECT coil my car fired right up! Its cutting out above about 3000 RPM though. I think its the coil wire. I'll get a new one tomorrow and hope for the best.Thanks everyone for your help. In particular, thanks Marc for your help and your conversion web site!!!
