Window Help
Electric passenger window doesn’t work. The window is open and I need to close it. Most likely the motor as I’ve tried multiple switches etc.
Any tricks? I just need to close it ASAP. |

Did you try switches in both doors?

Would really help to know what year and model you are working on, but...
If it is a power suply issue and not the motor itself, and if you have a power source (12V), could be battery or whatever, you could try powering the motor directly at the passenger door switch location. When you remove the switch, there are two blue and black (i think based on my 84) wires. if you power one and ground the other it should power the motor directly. if it tries to go down just switch which one you have connected to + and -. other than that about your only other option is to remove the door panel to access the window mechanism directly. |
