911r/rsr exhaust help

I know a couple options for the exhaust systems for early 911r. Mufflers being the same the only difference are the headers and the megaphones. I’ve seen short headers with another extension pipe to the muffler. Longer headers with that pipe welded on. And then short headers with the megaphone pipe that fits inside the mufflers inlets. What should I be looking for? If I get the longer headers I guess I weld a flange it can mate to onto the inlets of the mufflers? Not sure what to do. Thanks
