Runs perfect than won't start
This has happened a couple of times in the past. The car starts and runs fine. Then for not apparent reason I go to start it and it won't start. I can hear the fuel pump so I'm getting fuel, but it just won't start. I replaced the CD unit this winter with an MSD and a new coil, but with the same results as last summer. Any suggestions?
Tom

I would put some gauges on the CIS and see if it is holding pressure. I would think it could be the check valve or the accumulator. Did you lift the air meter and hear the injectors squirt?

Thanks Blown,
I found the problem. I was getting fuel but no spark. I traced it back to where I used a spade connector to get power from my 3 pin plug for my old cd unit. I am now going over all connections and going to solder all connections. Tom
