Question 911 clock

The clock in my 911 does not keep very good time, it gains 10 minutes in every hour. I have been offered a clock that has come out of a 928 Pt No 477 919 211. Will this fit? It is too far away to try it for size.Thanks.

I don't know if a 928 clock will fit, but I do know that N. Hollywood Speedo & Clock could fix your old one. Do you have any friends living in the USA? Might be simpler to send them your clock, let them have it repaired, then they mail it back to you. Less hassles with customs that way. This method worked well when I had a temp/pressure combo gauge redone for Evren...

Ahhh Gee! Kind words. Actually, we lucked out on the gauge. Evren had a relative visiting the USA who was going to fly back to Istanbul. Gauge was UPS shipped to Evren's relative, who simply carried it home in his luggage.

I'd check the next swap meet, personally. At Hershey you could buy them for $15-$20.

If you ship the clock over for repair, be sure to include a bunch of other wires and maybe a couple of flares taped together. That should assure "special" handling by the carrier.
