Great link - 40 years of 911.

http://www3.porsche.de/german/deu/911/40years/de/default.htm

Great site and easy to navigate even if your German isn't good. If only the films could be saved onto the harddrive.....

Thanks layzee I'll try that.

This jubilee site is really good. I just got a new background pic from it. A white US model 911 Carrera 3,2 Targa in the front of the pic with fantastic scenery in the background. The 993 C4S is pretty nice too, but no scenery there.

Anyone else having trouble with the site? I'e tried Netscape, Ineternet Explorer and Opera and I can't get the films to play - and other pages are not rendering properly too.

You probably need a newer version of flash.

I've done it, click the link I put up there and download the software. Install it. Then when you play the videos a little button to save it will appear, just click that and save it.

Yeah that video with Derek Bell is amazing. I'd love to see the rest of that.

Does anyone know how to convert these files into a format that can then be put on a VCD CD for my DVD-player?

Phil;
I agree, the D.Bell video looks like it was made by the same people who did the "In Car 956" video. I wonder if there is another video out there somewhere with "In Car Porsche Classic Racecars" or something of that sort. I'd buy it at the drop of a hat!

I think I remember that Derek Bell clip from the TV show: Porsche - The racing legend.

I have it on VHS video recorded from Discovery.
