High performance GT3 clutch

I'm in the process of upgrading my 996 GT3 to 3.8 and while the engine is out, I would like to install a new clutch. Street driving and carving corners on the occasional canyon runs is all I do.
Any thoughts on a nice clutch/flywheel upgrade?

Hi Henry,
I know this won't fit your engine, but i used a Kep all aluminum pressure plate, (about 6-1/2 pounds, I think it is rated for up to 400 hp), and a Fenlane 6+ pound RSR flywheel on my 74 915. These should liven p the engine a bit - perhaps they have something similar that would work on your G50???

Hey Henry .
I have part numbers I can post tonight after I finish work , but you should look at the 4.0 lwf clutch .
If you want to go lighter there is a cup flywheel too , but probably not worth it on street driven car .

996 GT3 RS
or
997 GT3 4.0 RS(will require a bit more leg for a bit more clamp)

Bill is right as usual 997 4.0 clutch and steel flywheel
Your car came with dual mass flywheel

Full rs4.0 kit. Run it in my 964 and 997.1rs
The 40 pressure plate is a much stouter design.
