stupid question
Looking at the chain covers is there a way to tell if the tensioners have been upgraded to pressure fed? It's a 79SC 3L Stock as far as I know. There are some small diameter oil lines going to the chain covers now?

I believe those two lines (one on each side) would be how the oil pressure is delivered to the tensioners. I up graded mine 15 years ago, that's what I recall. Someone else will probably verify.

Yes, as mentioned above there are oil lines that you can't miss going right to the chain covers. No oil lines, no upgrade.

Yup. the little lines that look like they are 5/16" inch feed the tensioners. Sometimes they can weep, so watch for that, but it's pretty rare. Important mod.

Thanks to all that answered the question!! At least I've got that going for me. Don't worry, none of my ex-wives are going to drive 3 pedals, I learned my lesson on the first 2 P cars. Kip
