Porsche Crest New suspension (WOW)

Well I just got my car back from the shop with new shocks in back and bilstein sport struts in front. New wheel bearings in the front and a front end alignment.

All I can say is WOW! I thought it drove nicely before, but now it is amazing how tight it feels. It is nothing short of awesome. I didn't realize how bad the shocks were until now.

Anyway just had to share. Now I think I am ready to do a DE event or two

Einreb,
trust me, you will enjoy the difference in the feel of the new shocks. It feels like a new car

Just got through with a front suspension rebuild w/Bilstein HD's all around. It is incredible the difference.

Tomorrow I get new S-03's and can't wait to see what difference they make.

When I was racing, everyone said if you have $ to spend, first spend it on the suspension, then tires and then HP.

I'm a believer.

Dave

Hey sonic,
no prob. The front strut inserts w/sport bilsteins $800
rear shocks oe $495
front wheel bearings $280
front alignment $140

It wasn't cheap but it was well worth it. I really had intended on doing some of this myself but we are in the middle of a major remodel on my house and I just can't seem to find the space or time right now.

The back shocks were so bad they rattled.
Anyway it is amazing how good it feels so if you can do it, go for it
