Locks for Fuchs - Locks for Fuchs

Wow - say that fast 5 times

I just received notification that my 8x16 and 9x16 Fuchs have been delivered from the famous Mr. Al Reed. YIPEE! I'm having new tires mounted and will have to get my wrench to do a little fender rolling (I am too faint of the heart to attempt- he does it all the time) I'm pumped!

Anyway - to those that have had your fuchs polished - and know the expense of getting them there (especially the 9x16's!)

What are you using for Wheel locks? I have the standard fuchs locks (black) in the 15's that I have on the car - but my new wheels have polished lugs and caps.

Any ideas? Help!

I went from polished to painted (color-matched centers w/ black lugs) I could trade you some chrome locks for your black locks.

First off, when is that last time you saw a Porsche in a parking lot up on cinder blocks? They are 100 times more likely to steal your car then your wheels. That said, I'm sure you could find an aftermarket lock that is silver in color. Oh, and what size tire did you go with up front. The 225/45 was the key for allowing clearance. Only problem is that is reduced my ride height another 1/2 inch so I'm sitting up front with 23.5. Ouch on any curbs of ruts.

Jeremy, please post pictures when you get them mounted. I'm interested in doing the same.

I'll post pictures - Island - I'll take you up on your offer. PM your address and I will send you mine

and 89911 - I went with the 225/50/16

I talked with my wrench and he was confident that they will fit. He's doing the fender rolling - in my best german accent - "jah Jeremy, it vill be no problems"

I guess we will see... If not I guess the 45's will have to be the way to go
