Uh, no....
What part of "stock looking shift lever" does that boot deal with?

Exactly this - looks like a well designed shifter and I love to see more new products for our great cars, we’re very fortunate to have current and well-supported options. But I don’t care for the milled look of the shift lever, just doesn’t suit the g body aesthetic imho. If there was a stock appearing unit then I’d be highly interested. Matter of personal taste I know

what does the tip of the shift lever look like?
diameter? inner thread? just wondering what shift knobs may fit.

one more thing: does the kit include assorted black (allen) bolts to fit the look when installed?
I mean, they've gone this far, would be a pity to bolt this up with smt else...

The tip of the shifter is same as stock so a factory shift know ought to fit as well as the rennline custom wood shift knob.

Flo, looks good! I want to do this as well so looking forward to your review. Did you go with the 2mm or the 2.5mm spring?

Purchased one when they first came out, for my ‘74. Assembled as shown in their video. Went to install it, months later and found that the shifter was installed backwards. Rechecked the video and saw that the kid also installed it backwards. Throughout the installation video, he screws things up with little subtitles correcting what he was saying “he really means 4th gear”. Very confusing.
I spent the better part of a day installing this shifter and found it unpleasant to shift with. Much to notchy. Never could get the reverse lockout to engage. I emailed Numeric 2 weeks ago, via their web site, asking for assistance and never received a reply. Reinstalled my Rennshift and I’m whole again. Will be offering it for sale. Nice that they post how good their groundbreaking shifter is but please reshoot the video and respond to requests for support.

Tony, that's definitely disappointing to hear. You always hope that when launching a new product that the factory support will be there. I made the same observation as you did regarding the video. That whole thing should be re-shot and add some better lighting while they are at it. Thanks for your feedback.

Their shift rod extension may help with the notchy feeling. Installed mine without a hiccup and have been very satisfied.

Will need to make a knob as I have none to use that fits. I want something very similar to the WEVO extended knob.

This does not refrain the unit from moving. This movement can be passed on to the shift linkage. The „play“ in the coupler with factory oval bushings was to compensate that a bit. Fair enough. So far I use RebelRacing mounts and a WEVO PJS coupler. Perfect. Though anything is welcome to better the wobbly factory shifter that has no guidance whatsoever nor selfcentering in neutral. The Numeric shifter has a lot of pros: - way less friction on any part - very light - ready to use shifter tower to bolt - set comes with upgraded coupler - fits to factory knob I’ll report about handling once in use
