3D printer for functional parts & prototypes?
Hey all
I bought an Ender 3 Pro for my design firm right before the shutdown and have been enjoying it for protoyping bits and pieces. We are reopening the office so the printer goes next week. It was very cheap maybe $200 then I upgraded the extruder to all metal, bought nicer filamets etc. A year is a lifetime in 3DP so I figure there are new options out there. Anyone have a desktop scale printer they like below $500 that they use to make functional parts and prototypes? Here are some brackets I made for an electric fan conversion on my Alfa. ![]()

There are multiple threads about 3D printing. Many of us members use them for proto and functional parts.
I have been using mine for about 6 years. Just bought a large format printer and things get fun. LImited only by imagination and my CAD skills.
