Fuel smell after driving - but not immediately only after 10-15 minutes

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction - this is a fairly new thing: After driving and ensuring I get the car hot I smell next to no different/new smells (some of the slightly richness while pulling into the garage w/ a Steve Wong chip) than I"m used to.

However - after the car sits for 10-15 minutes there are serious enough fuel vapors that I leave all garage doors open and will (prior to having just moved to Austin, TX and can't find my fan for the life of me) turn on a fan to help vent the garage.

I've read a number of threads on fuel - from front left fender (can't smell it specifically in one place, don't have a floor jack right now having just moved so can't easily pull the wheel but will soon) - but instead I'd describe it just more generally. There is no spilled fuel on the floor.

Does this give enough detail to rule out some items but start with others? Thanks so much for the help - I landed in great driving roads but want to get this resolved as anything fuel-related concerns me.

I'd start by pulling off the pan below the fuel pump so you can see if the FP or its connections are weeping after shut down...

What he said. If there is a small leak it will pool on top of the suspension pan and evaporate so you can smell it but there will be no visible leak. On CIS cars, the flexible high pressure line between the fuel pump and the tunnel lines will crack and leak when it is old. This happened to both of my 911s.

BTW, you will get better advice if you indicate your exact model. My comments would not apply to older (pre-1974) cars.
