Time for a new muffler

I have a 1983 911sc that needs a new muffler. I have been looking at the Dansk single in single out muffler (aluminized steel). Would like it to be a bit louder than stock but not overly loud & without the drone. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Thanks
Jeff

I have a Dansk pre-muffler (w/02 bung) and a Dansk 1 in, 1 out sport muffler on my 84 911. The muffler has the 84mm outlet.

Really like this setup. Nice sound, but not obnoxiously loud. No drone and engine feels more responsive and strong. The Dansk muffler fits well and can use the original muffler straps.

I've run this same setup and it's excellent. Given what the OP is seeking, I'd highly recommend it.

Pair either permutation with a Steve Wong chip (on a 3.2) and it's Very Excellent! In fact, the chip alone will improve the car's sound, but especially in conjunction with a pre-muffler and / or a sport muffler. Think of it like a 3.2 "Power Kit." Open up your airbox lid for some additional intake music / aural pleasure. Those four things are the best money you can spend on a 3.2 for not only HP & TQ improvements across-the-board, but most importantly... Improved drivability and liveliness. SCs can certainly benefits from a pre-muffler and sport muffler regardless.

MKM33 single inlet single outlet for SC/Carrera. Sound is louder than stock but not sport loud (when combined with a pre-muffler). Weight is 1/2 of other mufflers, material is 321 stainless which will last the life of your 911, price is less than most others, made in USA quality is second to none.
