Running Rough

Well got back to the car this weekend, adjusted the valves and now it runs real rough. Almost sounds like a miss but I don't think it is. Car runs and pulls strong, just sounds like a Harley and stumbles a bit at low revs.

Any ideas?

Scott

All else aside, I always tied a bad idle to tight valves in my multi-cylinder Japanese motorbikes. Is this possible?

Hmmmm,

The idle is stable. It's running like a car that you start on a real cold winter morning, rough and you expect it to even out after a few seconds but it does not.

Wonder if I did not get a plug wire on correctly somewhere.

Scott

A very good chance, Scott.
It's possible to push the Beru connectors down into the hole, and actually miss the plug terminal. You should feel each connector firmly grab the terminal fitting, or it may not be making contact.
