Run for a short time and died

Hello
My 79 sc has been sitting in a garage for some time. Battery was dried out. I recharged the battery. Car started right up. After about 5 mins . Engine stopped. I turned the ignition switch, no power to the car. All electrical system shut down. Any idea ? Thank you

After a storage battery goes dry it most likely wont hold a charge.

I don't think that green wire should be attached.

Unless someone used green because they didn't have another color. I'd still follow it and see where it goes.
