Distributor question
How can I tell the difference between a Bosch and a Marelli distributor without pulling it out of the engine? My car is a 72T. The number on the distributor is 030.

The Marelli has a much "taller" cap. Look at the attached pictures of Marelli distributors and compare them to yours.

Yup, mine is a Bosch then. Now I can order the correct Ignitor for it. Tired of points. Thanks for everything.

I've got an extra marelli dizzy if someone needs it. Even has the cap, rotor and points

No, they are from Ebay. I saw them today looking around Ebay and when I saw this post, I figured a picture was worth a thousand words!
