Recommend a good body shop in Dallas?
As the title says, need some work done in Dallas, TX. The regional forum seems dead otherwise I would have posted there.
Thanks. |

i am looking myself. So far the advice I have gotten is:
Advantage Autoworks in North Richland Hills from Mayo The House of Hotrods in Mansfield from Andy Kay Stuarts (moving to Plano from Dallas) from everybody New Concepts from Jack Griffin I talked with Stuarts but am waiting for my new ac to be installed before I interview the above. Let me know what you come up with Hank Gaines hankgaines@gmail.com 972-345-7933 89 Carrera 3.2

I need someone to hang my bumpers correctly, but can't find a local shop, myself. Body work on these things is like voodoo.
Maybe give Will Kitchen at Earth Motorcars a call. I think he is or used to be associated with Gerber, and he does handle lots of top-end marques. |

For the bumpers give Gilbert a call. The name of his shop is A Master's Touch. He used to do the body work when Ed Mayo and Al Zim were still together. (817) nine zero nine four seven eight eight

Most reputable shops suggested above will have a long waiting list, and the work itself, once started, can also take a long time depending on the complexity. Allow for that in your project.

Sorry to hear that, did you leave a voicemail, and mention I referred you? I can let him know you tried calling if you still need help.

While you are at Stuart's, swing by Best in Show on Miller (a couple blocks away). Mike has done great work on cars for me in the past.

I may still need Danny in a couple weeks if he can help me get this thing started for the first time in almost three years.... I'm no engine expert. |

Stuarts did spectacular work on one of my 911s but it was a long time ago. I didn't know Jack Griffin was getting into the body shop business! I just saw him at a PCA event. He's a busy guy!

+1 for Stuarts. They have done work on a 993 I had and, more recently, repaired my wife's IS350. Stuart himself was out there applying the emblems and stone guards when I picked it up.
