Yet another ... fender flare / kits question

I've seen a few of the panel suppliers listing "RS /Singer look" flares
930-503-308-99
930-503-307-99

Can anyone speak to the width and fit? I recall a post having a photo showing the widths, but cannot locate it now. I'm entertaining backdating a '79 SC...will create a separate thread for that.

Also, I see a few companies listing complete or partial backdate kits - TRE has an all steel selection that includes what appears to be all parts required - backdate in a box, perhaps? Has anyone gone this route vs. determining all the pieces and ordering as needed. Price for a kit is approx. $10.5K. As for piecing it out, I see prices for steel pre 74 fenders at ~$1,100 ea. (when purchased as a pair), turbo flares at $250 ea., etc. My guess is the cost in little bits like lights and 'stuff' add up quick.
