Calling an Admin or Moderator for help!!

Hi!

I'm posting here on the public forum in hopes that it makes it to an admin.

I've tried to contact an admin via the "Contact Us" form on the forum but have had no response. In addition I send PM's to three admins that are still unopened and unread so this is my last hope I guess...

I’m writing because my account was banned.

Not this account but my original account which I've had for a little over a year was banned. I made this account to try and unban my real account.

I logged in on Friday morning per usual and then again around lunchtime to find message that I had been banned with no reason given:

I don’t know for sure why but I have an idea:

On Thursday I posted a WTB ad with a photo of the part I was looking for. Sure enough 4 or 5 scammers tried to hook me. Another member H******* wrote claiming that they had the part. I asked for a photo to confirm and they sent one that was suspiciously identical to the one I posted on the ad.

I wanted to check the user out further so I clicked their profile: the account was made just a few days before, wasn't completed and had one post:

I clicked on the post and it was a response to another WTB ad but it had been edited to “**” the replies to H*******’s post from other members were warning people not to contact H******* via text like they had requested. It seemed to me HolyPope was a scammer as well:

I responded asking for another photo with a message on a piece of paper to confirm they really had the part; kind of a proof of life thing. Nope, nothing, no response.

We exchanged messages: I told them to **** off and they did the same. I should have just let it go and ignored them but having been burned once before by a scammer on Pelican I was pretty pissed:

I reported H****** through the tapatalk app and went on my way.

Curiously it seems the H*******'s account is still active and now I’m banned

I don’t believe I did anything to deserve a ban and through I’m only a 1 year member I’ve been an active contributor. I’ve bought and sold via the marketplace and try to make my membership here valuable. I’ve had tons of positive interactions via PM with other members and even met some IRL. I'm a PCA member, I'm a customer of Pelican parts as well as many other retailers in the Porsche space.

If I'm to truly be banned I'd like to know why. I can own using inappropriate language, should have been cooler about it and will take my punishment if telling a scammer to **** off is a breach of the site rules. I'd ask that the scammer's account also be banned as they told me the same.

So there's my sad sack story. I'd hoped I could resolve it with the admin's directly but thus far I've received no responses. I imagine that they are super busy and have better things to do but it's frustrating nonetheless.

Thanks for reading, no I'm going for a drive... If I can get my damn 911 started

Who did you send the PMs to? Myself and Eric are the main admins here and neither of us received a message from you. Also, what is your original account? I am unable to search any history behind what happened with the ban. Shoot me a PM please.

Thanks,
Dmitry
