Tricky speedo problem
1987 3.2 Carrera Coupe. I asked PCA Technical and didn't get a response so I'm asking this community for help.
When my car is cold and I fire it up and drive speedo is spot on, I could drive 200 miles or more and speedo would be spot on BUT if I stop and trun the car off and then start driving again the speedo is dead, once the car cools down completely then scenario repeats. Otherwise the car runs flawlessly. |

Call Palo Alto Speedo and ask. If this is common they will know what is going on. The capacitors may be going out inside the speedo. I just had mine in there for a bad plastic gear and they replaced the caps.

Could easily be the magnetic sensor or cable.
