Please check my clutch helper spring movement, is it OK?

I used to drive my 930 without a clutch helper spring for a while, it wasn't that heavy but sometimes I feel its a bit in the heavy side of scale, so I decided today to add the helper spring, all went smooth and I used a C clamp to compress it in place as one of Pelicans here recommended, all went on in 10 minutes, now the strange thing is that it became VERY light! .. almost if there is no clutch at all, for me its too good to be true! .. its so light to the point that I can push the clutch pedal all the way in with my single hand, is it that normal? .. I have attached a youtube link of a video shot that I did for it and a couple of pictures :

what are you referring to as 'the helper spring" ?
the omega spring or the mini coil spring.
I was not aware that you could run without the omega spring
what year is your 930 ?

When my omega spring the clutch worked fine it just lost that "snap" feel to it. Everthing looks fine to me in your pics. After you pump it a few times recheck your 1 mm gap setting, hard to tell from the pic but it looks tight.

I'm not familiar with the band on your omega spring. Is that a 930 specific modification to the Omega spring?

I suppose that band could increase the spring rate, making the clutch easier.

Also, it may just be the angle of the photos, but I do not see the rear omega spring stop/bracket. Without the stop you would not be able to properly position the Omega spring or adjust the clutch free play.

Sorry for the threadjack. In the last photo, is there a little piece of rubber hose inserted in the yoke?

Yeah I meant the omega spring. The transmission is a '84 I think that has been converted to SBH, it came without the omega spring so I bought it used a while a go. Anyway I took it for a short drive and everything seems right, now its MUCH more easy to drive in stop and go!

Indy shop owner told me one should lubricate the large Omega spring as they can break with constant binding during compression...
