Oil pressure sensor wiring connector

Wiring up a 73 oil temp/pressure combo gauge. The wiring in the car is intact but the connector for the oil temp sensor is missing. Can anyone tell me what crimp on connector i need for the pole type temperature sensor?
Thanks,
Joe

Mine had a spade connector on it. Worked fine, not sure if that was how it left the factory.

That’s what I’ve seen too. It’s not obvious, but it slides right on.

The typical connector (at least the ones I have, which are pretty normal hardware store stuff) has some trouble fitting on this round flat end. I've had to clip some of the plastic insulation around the metal part in order to let it be pushed on. Luckily, it doesn't need to be insulated.

But there may be a better mousetrap which is as convenient.

I thinks this is called a flag terminal, due to its shape. Here is a link to a place where it can be found. Sorry, this is a french website, but there's a pic of what you need. I am sure you can to find it local.

.312 Flag terminal like on this page for the original temp sensor.
Motorcycle Flag Terminals

Use .250 for smaller ones as on the original points connector for a 73.
