Eureka Palooza!
Anyone going to the PCA Palooza in Eureka? I'm really hoping to see some slate grey and Ossi blau cars in person.

Is this a Redwood region event? I have not heard anything about it. When and where?
Maybe this isn't Eureka Kalifornia?

This is in Arkansas. I'm not surprised not many have heard of this town, but trust me if you ever make it to Arkansas be sure to check it out. You'll be stunned at what a neat place it is. Apologies for the confusion.

My nephew is heading that way from NOLA, in his 991 GTS. It's silver with a platinum tinted wrap.
Sounds like a big get together. Have fun ! Check back with pics and stories. Cheers Richard |

I'll take a ton of photos. I heard the expected turnout is 300-400 cars.

I can't even explain what a great time I had today. Everyone was so cool and helpful. I never made it past the 356, 912, and long hood sections to see the other cars. We were all just talking and into it I never moved really, about eight hours of just having fun with people and cars. It was nice to see details and colors in person. There was a revving contest, to see who's motor sounded the best, a toss up for sure. A guy from Tulsa had a 356 with an Abarth exhaust that sounded like the tightest engine I've ever heard. He said it was rebuilt 20 years ago. They had two antique stunt planes do a flyover, barrel rolls, et cetera... the kids went insane! I really liked talking with the 356 and longhood guys. They seemed to understand my restoration. Invited me and the lil' woman to try seats, and especially were really cool with my youngsters who are in total awe of these early cars. The whole experience was really wonderful.

For a frame of reference I'm the guy with the two boys and lady that came up to you right when you pulled in and asked if that was arrow blue. Thanks for showing us your car! I liked the houndstooth more than I thought I would. Leonard and company did a great job. Many thanks to them.
