Hood Mount Lights On SC / Carrera?
How do people think the hood-mounted rally lights would look on an impact bumper 911 such as my Carrera? Anyone have a picture - real or Photoshopped?
Where does one find these things and how much do they go for, anyway - real or repro, I don't care. I am inspired by the great RGruppe photos and, to my surprise, my wife actually doesn't mind the "four-eyes" look. It's a Group 4 3.0 rally car. 275 bhp. Not sure of the year.

This must be different strokes for different folks thing but how are rally lights on a car (that will never night rally) any different from a big wing on a Honda (that will never go to the track)?

Agreed, it'd be just a "looks" thing for me.
Edit: I thought about trying to come up with some "need" for the lights - dueling high beams with SUVs, high-speed runs up the coast, emergency landings for light aircraft, etc - but decided not to. Hey, its a toy.

I would like the extra lighting for windy roads at night. ..or the occasional night auto-X. + on the right car they look Kewl.
