Incorrect instructions with new voltage regulator?

The instructions that came with a new Porsche voltage regulator that I bought from Pelican seem to be incorrect.

Here are the connectors on my alternator after removing the voltage regulator. The B+ connector on the right is a little burnt. The connector on the left is D-.

Here is the regulator I removed next to the one that came from Porsche. The one I removed has a single wire to the B+ terminal, the new one has two wires.

Here's the instructions that came with the new regulator.

I found this service bulletin, which says to connect the blue wire to D-, the yellow wire to B+.

Which is correct?
