Engine & Transmission bracket/alignment assistance

Hi,

I did my first engine & transmission drop last year, which ended with them back in the car but a concern on my end that I might have stripped the transmission bolts.

While it appears the transmission bolt holes aren't stripped, I'm having trouble getting the transmission aligned to the bolt holes.

I've unbolted the 4 nuts on the transmission carrier, but it looks like I need to lower the engine possibly to get everything aligned.

For the engine support bar, is it possible I need to loosen that from the engine mount carrier to align everything?

Worth noting that since the reinstall, it's always felt like my engine was sitting a little higher in the engine compartment. Thanks in advance.

I was able to get the transmission all bolted up.

One thing that helped was loosening the engine mount bolts.

Another factor was that the replacement transmission mounts (G50) are two piece, one of them I was able to press the halves together on the crossmember, but the other I had to use the bolt to push them together.

This made one side a little longer. Doing the shorter side first helped.
