Help finding a part!

I've worn out google searching for this part. It's a headlight connector assembly from my 79 SC. Any help in located a replacement, is much appreciated.

With the correct tool, the wires separate from the connectors.

The PO of my 78 hacked this up badly probably trying to get it through the holes in the bucket. I ended up just cutting the rest of the wires and using single spade connectors.

So you replaced the connectors (there are two in my picture) and just added the single spades to the existing wires? Thx!

Try searching “Porsche H4 headlight connector”. Google should turn up what you need. Sierra Madre has them and Pelican has an H5 to H4 adapter you could cut and make work.

I think I saw the one you're referencing. I didn't see one for the rectangular connector but I did see the one for the white, three wire connector. thank you

Yes; the plugs that plugged directly into the headlight itself were OK so I kept them. I just eliminated the other hacked up connectors using single spade connectors for each individual wire. Not an elegant solution, but fast and cheap.

The wiring in the buckets can be a bit confusing if you do not pay attention, so take pictures and/or label each wire if you decide to cut away the connectors.
