I do appreciate you measuring the springs for me - I'll take all the information I can get.

Mine has 7 turns also...maybe the spring got compressed over the years it wasn't in use?

Anyway...how much is one of them Tial wastegates, anyway? Just kidding.

It is possible that the spring "relaxed" over the years, but usually the spring material is pretty resilent. It's possible though....

Glad I could help with measurements. I'll get some better measurements with my calipers after the holidays if you would like.

The Tial's are really a quality piece. I had no intention of getting one, thats why I bought the 1bar spring, but when I got headers installed, all the studs on the wastegate broke off, and at the time I didn't want to deal with that, so I decided to bite the bullet and I got a super deal on the Tial. I still have my old one that I am going to rebuild someday and sell when I get some time.

This spring let the gate open around 11 psi

Good luck
