headlight switch retaining nut
Hi, I'm after a new headlight switch retaining nut (the one requiring circlip pliers to remove). I have searched through the pelican parts catalogue but have been unable to locate it
. Would someone please be able to provide a part number or link if available.Thanks. |

If this is what you are looking for, I saved this one when I replaced the headlight switch in our '86. If not available from your local P-Dealer, pm me with your address, and you can have it. Now, about that Crown Lager................ Cheers, Gerry ![]() ![]()

If it's the same one I'm thinking of I used the little knurled nut off of a presta vlave on my bicycle, the threads are identical. It is the little nut that holds the valve for your inner tube close against the rim, most people just toss 'em.

I had a split nut for the headlight switch. I purchased a version that was available and cut the nut to lenght and threaded the hole. The unthreaded blank hole was marginal almost marginal. It tap doesn’t give you 100% thread, but the stress isn’t that high.
