Body / Production Number Interpretation

Hello all. I have a 1974 911 that due to some severe mistreatment by a previous owner does not have a VIN number on the body. The body number under the dash reads: 1041954, so it is an original body, 1974 coupe if you interpret that number.

The SCDMV will issue me a replacement VIN and title for this car if I can get something on Porsche letterhead verifying my interpretation of this number. Neither Porsche NA or my local dealer seem to be any help with this even though you can find this interpretation many places online.

I am reaching out in hopes of finding someone that can help with this. The DMV title agent has already inspected the car and verified the number I am giving them is correct. They just want a statement that the number means that the car is a 1974 911 Coupe before they will issue a replacement VIN and title.
