Help power window issue, constant up on motor, no control

So my window was stuck down, I replaced all 3 switches, turn on the car, magically the window goes up but the passenger window switches dont work. They do nothing.

Driver window works perfectly. So I play with both passenger buttons at the same time. If i hold them both down the window goes down. Let go and it immediately goes up. Its stuck in an up cycle. what could this be? I switched the horn and window relay nothing changed. If I switch wires 2 and 3 on the window button the reverse happens and it goes down automatically and stays down????

What gremlin is this. Its an 83 row 911sc. The driver side passenger button has 2 red/blue wires, ive read that one should just be a single red as it is on the driver side, but ive also seen it listed as 2 red/blue wires at both 1 and 5.

update, If i pull the double wire off #3 on the drivers side passenger window switch, i can now use both buttons at the same time to get the window down and the drivers side passenger switch to get the window up on its own

Sounds like you messed up the connections to the switches.
I removed mine a few years ago to replace the door panels on my 83. I took pictures of the switches to put it back together. I'll look for them in a bit and post them.

Don't panic, you will make it right

Looking at the switch pins, single pin at 12 o'clock, brown ground lower left, 12V w/key on to lower right and top single pin, window motor wires in the middle. Swap motor wires if window goes the wrong way.

Ive took photos and followed all the diagrams online, ive tried them every which way with the same result. Window will only go down if two switches pressed and one wire removed #3 top red/blue on driver passenger door. if that wire is hooked up the window will go down but instantly goes back up. If the wire is unhooked I can also send the window up with the drivers side passenger switch.
